I thought the graffiti looked really cool, but Nancy didn't like it. No problem! I just got out my wood chisels and started on a different look.
It was really pretty handy that we had some old wood piled up behind the house. My carpentry skills were a little rusty, but it all came back to me. As fast as I can paint, I can chisel and carve even quicker. I'll be interested to hear if people like this look better than the grunge subway thing I was going for yesterday.
The backdrop with the look of sunlight coming into a rustic cottage is a little small for Nancy's liking - she couldn't really move around much - but it might have it's place. If you hang around long enough, there are a few photos at the end that show a really cool metal backdrop that really excited the shooter. We're thinking that might go over well for senior graduation pictures. Tanner was a little hesitant to jump in, but he did agree to let us take a couple of him with his guitar. Our dogs, Otis and Chester, got in a couple shots too, but they didn't have any choice.
For those perceptive enough to notice, we are getting some gold tones from the ceiling. To get rid of yellow, you need to add blue, so you might notice that in a couple pictures - nothing a little brilliant white paint won't take care of.
