I've never done two blogs in one night before, but I've got a lot to report. As it closes in on midnight, perhaps I will save one for the morning...
First I wanted to post a few photographs of some of the work we did on Monday night. We've got an engagement this week with Max, so Nancy wanted to do some work with some of our Christmas backdrops. This is one of a few we picked up for the Holiday season. When Nancy wears her copper coat, we call her "Penny," so Penny and I put up the Christmas scene in record time and took a few shots:
Chester? Really, what's that all about? Chester (we also call him Eddie,) got into the Christmas Spirit. As you can tell from his expression, he was still a bit tentative, but he hung in there, even when those big mean Einstein flashes started a-flashin.
Nancy only got to shoot one Christmas backdrop because CJ wanted to take some shots of a winter backdrop that we are still not sure about. We had tried this before we had the room painted and weren't happy with how it photographed. Like anything though, if you're gonna be good you have to practice, so we tried again. We draped more of the scene on the floor, which seemed to help quite a bit:
So that was the bulk of our fun for Monday night. Keep your eyes open for another blog tomorrow. We did some serious work in the studio on Tuesday night, and we're really excited to tell you about it. For now, we will leave you with a couple more shots, including one of Chester. He doesn't pose like this for everyone, so make sure you come back for more fun.
